A Greensleeves Care home in Suffolk has won three awards at the prestigious 2022 Caring UK Awards.
Broadlands in Oulton Broad, got top spots in the categories of End-of-Life Care Team of the Year, Management Team of the Year, and the main award, National Care Home of the Year Award, which is selected from all category winners.
The home is rated Outstanding by the CQC and highly regarded in its local community. It provides person-centred residential care focused on supporting independence.
Members of the Broadlands team attended the ceremony earlier this month at the Athena in Leicester, hosted by actor Dean Andrews.
Anne Maas, Home Manager at Broadlands, said:
“We would have been honoured to win just one of these categories, so for our team to walk away with three awards is incredible. At the heart of these awards are our residents, and it’s wonderful that our team is being recognised for the excellent care they provide.
“The End of Life Care Team award has a special place in all our hearts, as we pride ourselves on ensuring that residents who are receiving this care, and their families, are treated compassionately and with dignity.”
Shona King, Director of Business Development at Greensleeves Care, said:
“Broadlands embodies all the values of Greensleeves Care: openness, respect, and responsibility. Day in and day out, our growing family of not-for-profit homes across England strives to deliver high-quality care in extraordinary challenging times.
“National awards like these are a recognition of the phenomenal efforts and exceptional care taking place. Congratulations to every colleague at Broadlands on their achievement.”
This triple-win comes on the back of Broadlands being named one of the Top 20 Care homes in the East of England in Carehome.co.uk’s 2022 Awards, in which Greensleeves Care was also named a Top 20 Large Care Group.
